“Brandung” (Surge wave) Extremes collide at this point. From the gentle caress of a wave to the forbidding thunder and hissing of a spectacular surf. Symbolically, the sculpture depicts the polarity and tension of elated togetherness. The mosaic is the work of over 2200 hours and made mainly from Murano glass.
